All countries have committed to develop UHC as part of the Sustainable Development Agenda. Initially developed in 2014, the Leadership for Universal Health Coverage (L4UHC) programme fosters the skills, teamwork and initiatives to accelerate this objective.
A P4H PROGRAMME
L4UHC is part of P4H, a global network that provides technical, financial and political support for Universal Health Coverage.
Launched in 2007 as a G8 political initiative, P4H has since evolved into the major global network for health financing. It comprises the African Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Council of Europe Development Bank, France, Germany, the Global Financing Facility, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the International Labour Organization, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, the USA, the World Bank, the World Health Organization as well as academic institutions from Russia and South Korea.

It’s the people and the organisations they work for that make L4UHC such an effective programme. We work with x people across two continents. Here’s a glimpse of just some of those people and their roles.
Facilitators guide participants through the six stages of the programme.
Rapid-results coaches help teams achieve their in-country collective actions.
